Welcome to the Bad Equitation Blog!

This blog was created as a humorous relief to riding's many challenges.  We've all been caught off guard at one point in time or another, with the common end result of viewing photos of ourselves with blushed cheeks.  We've all made mistakes, and we try our best to learn from them.  At least the smart ones of us do...

Some of the photos that will be shown here were just taken at a bad time; others will show nothing short of plain stupidity and ignorance.  Some are amateur riders, some professionals, and I'm sure many will be of parents who do not care for their child's safety in the least bit.  Either way, we will discuss them.  We will laugh.  And we will try to learn from them.

So I'm asking you, my fellow equine community, to join me in this task!  Please submit those bad-timing photos of yourself for us to chat about.  (And feel free to blur your face out, and your horse's face too, if needed!)  And don't worry, we will never publish your name!  Photos can be emailed to badequitation@yahoo.com
